Equation #2

6 comments:

  1. There were no gummy worms inside a jar. The same amount was added three days in a row. But then, Fred decided to buy half of the jar. The candy store man decided to add 6 more gummy worms so that the jar didn’t look so empty. There were 18 gummy worms left. How many gummy worms were in the beginning?

  2. I like how you added gummy worms and how it fits with your equation. It is very amusing and at the same time logical. I am happy to say that there is no grammatical mistakes. The story is very creative and I do not know what to add or correct to the story. The story makes sense and it is crystal clear.

  5. The story that you made was very well done even though it was kind of confusing. The part “The same amount was added three days in a row” did not make sense because I did not understand what is the “same amount.” Other than that, the story was well formatted and the equation goes well with it. You said that there were no gummy worms inside a jar, but your question says “How many gummy worms were in the beginning?” You should change that a bit.

  6. Revised Story:

There were no gummy worms inside a jar. Then, the same amount was added three days in a row. All of a sudden, Fred decided to buy half of the jar. The candy store man decided to add 6 more gummy worms so that the jar didn’t look so empty. There were 18 gummy worms left. How many gummy worms were in the jar before Fred bought half of it?
